The Agreement ensures equal and partnership nature of relations in the process of information exchange, and obliges the Parties to take all necessary measures to protect classified information in the sphere of defense received in the course of cooperation. In terms of content, the Agreement corresponds to international practice.
According to the Agreement, competent security authority on the part of Ukraine is the Security Service of Ukraine, and the on the part of the Republic of Greece – the Department of Security and Counterintelligence of the Joint Military Intelligence Division of Hellenic National Defense General Staff.
The respective bill was registered under No. 0272.
